What a neutral canthal tilt is
A neutral canthal tilt means the inner and outer corners are level. Nothing about the eye is pulling up or down before makeup. The wing angle is then a choice you make, not a correction. Most makeup diagrams assume this tilt and then tell everyone to flick upward, which is why neutral eyes sometimes look over-lifted when they copy a positive-tilt look exactly.

Eyeliner, shadow, and lashes
Liner: A small flick, only a few degrees above the lash line, is the everyday option. A straight tightline with no wing also suits you. A steep cat-eye is a costume on a neutral tilt, not a correction.
Eyeshadow: Blend outward, roughly horizontally, to elongate. Blending sharply upward adds a tilt you do not have and can look disconnected from the eye.
Lashes: Even length across the lash line, or a gentle outer emphasis. You do not need extra outer curl to “fix” the corner.
